Selling a home in Connecticut

Depending on how long you have owned your home, you may or may not remember the purchase process. Along with all of your paper work, you also had to secure a lender, purchase home owners insurance coverage and purchase title insurance. Selling a home is completely different.

Since selling a home is much less intensive then buying one, our clients only need to appear in our office twice. Once to sign the Purchase and Sale Agreement and disclose our flat fee, and a second time to sign the Deed and final paper work. Everything else can be done electronically or over the phone. Sometimes a Seller may wish to have the entire process done through a power of attorney and Connecticut Title & Escrow can accommodate that request easily.

Connecticut Title & Escrow places a priority on personal service and professional representation.  The firm offers one-on-one consultations with their attorneys and it does not employ paralegals, so your matter will only be handled by an attorney. Additionally, Connecticut Title & Escrow is one of the few law firms across Connecticut that allows you to track the status of your closing online through a secure web page called "My Closing."  The "My Closing" page offers you an up to the minute status of your file with the click of a mouse.

Regardless of where or why you are selling a home, the most important thing to remember when you use Connecticut Title & Escrow is that you are in charge and your needs are the firms priority. If you want more time, or have more questions, just let the firm know! One of the
attorneys will always be available to speak with you.
